Choosing and caring for Lilies
Lilies are among the longest-lasting cut flowers because the buds open in turn: a bouquet that arrives closed and greenish looks completely different by day four. Remove the orange pollen heads of open flowers with a tissue — they permanently stain clothes and tablecloths. Lilies are strongly scented, so they are not ideal for small, stuffy rooms or dining tables. ⚠️ Lilies are toxic to cats; choose another flower for homes with cats.
