The story
Once a cut orchid stem goes inside a bouquet, both the price and the labour move up; that is why this one sits at the top of the collection. Phalaenopsis stems point upward, powder roses and plum chrysanthemum hold the centre, pink hydrangea and eucalyptus spread outward. It behaves more like an arrangement than a bouquet — the inside is caged as it is tied so the form survives being carried by hand.
What's inside
- Cut phalaenopsis orchid stem
- Powder-pink roses
- Plum and powder chrysanthemum
- Pink hydrangea
- Gomphrena
- Eucalyptus
Care
The orchid stem lasts 10–14 days in water and outlives the rest of the bouquet; when the bouquet is spent, move the orchid alone into a small vase.
